The Engineering & Logistical Challenge

The property was situated on a 32-degree steep hillside with narrow mountain access roads overlooking Lake Como. Conventional reinforced concrete construction would have required extensive hillside excavation, heavy tower cranes, and months of disruptive road closures.

The framing members were pre-engineered to transport lengths and delivered by medium rigid trucks. A local 4-man construction team guided by one SerVilla bilingual supervisor erected the full structural frame and weather-tight shell in just 12 working days without heavy cranes.

Dispatched from SerVilla’s Gebze manufacturing facility under Incoterms DAP. The transport cleared Turkish export customs at Pendik port and sailed via DFDS Ro-Ro ferry directly to Trieste, Italy. Zero import customs tariff was applied under the EU–Türkiye Customs Union A.TR certificate.
